Mitsubishi Engineering-Plastics Corporation (Head Office: Tokyo;
President: Hideo Fukutani) has decided to construct its own compounding
plant in Yokkaichi, Mie, Japan. The plan consists of two stages,
reaching a final annual capacity of 50,000 tons.
Up to now, MEP has been outsourcing most of its compounding. According
to mid-term forecasts by MEP, a substantial sales increase for compounding
products is expected. Through building its own plant, MEP will secure
stable compounding, improve technology, and reduce costs. |
